05 July 2009“Win an ikeGPS” Competition Winner Announced!Today Leon Toorenburg, CEO & Founder of Surveylab announced Matthew Brown, Engineering Technician of Butler Rural Electric Cooperative Inc. (BREC) as the winner of this year’s Win an ikeGPS Competition. Matthew’s submission, entitled “Reengineering the field data collection practices of the Butler Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. using the ike305” was chosen from hundreds of responses as the main prize winner. Matthew’s paper considered a number of concerns for BREC, including capital expenditure, number of site visits, quality of stored data, and efficiency of field data collection. The paper formed a convincing argument for using ikeGPS within BREC and Matthew summarised it well saying “Accurate data is obtainable through implementation of the program described in this case study and through the use of ikeGPS technologies.”
“The calibre of response to our Win an ikeGPS Competition was impressive, with a number of complete and thorough case studies presented to us,” commented Leon. “It took some time to whittle the entries down to the top five and then our senior management team reviewed all five to decide the ultimate winner. We hope Matthew can now put his theory into practise and we look forward to seeing his results!”
Surveylab will contact Matthew soon to arrange delivery of his brand new ike305! |
